Ambient Water.

The urban water collector is located at the intersection of 9th and Mission streets in San Francisco. The building serves the purpose of food awareness and education. A food hall occupies the ground floor.

The facade of the building is composed of translucent fog catchers. They can be manually operated from the interior to regulate sun exposure. They are made from polyethylene mesh, which traps water and offers sun protection.

Light wells bring sunlight to the lower stories and serve as water collectors.
