Scope.

The HOVER homepage was inconsistent and misleading. Users were deterred from downloading the app because they had to input their phone number, and it was unclear who the target audience was. The video content took a long time to load. I worked on improving the homepage to provide a better first-time user experience.

The tag line and description have also been adjusted to target both contractors and homeowners.

What was a vague scenario is now much more precise & realistic. The text is larger and easier to read, and the graphic in the background is static.

Using Gestalt principles to organize and prioritize content.

The new design uses the Gestalt principle of Figure/ Ground to convey the heirarchy of information by establishing foreground and background elements. 

The new design uses the Gestalt principle of Symmetry & Order to organize the layout of the important elements on the screen.
