Walden.

Located in Walden, Monterey, this dwelling is a retreat that connects man to nature. It is a bridge between the earth and the sky. ​Elongated forms and landscape walls contour the earth, grounding the architectural forms and establishing a strong indoor-outdoor connection. They intersect with the tower, a vertical form that reaches towards the sky and culminates in an open roof deck. It is a place for self-reflection where you can gaze at the stars.
